Wing and A Prayer

Wing And a Prayer is a physical manifestation of one human's hope for Planet Earth. The hollow sphere, made of Ice Age Stones, weighs approximately 90 pounds (42 KG.)

It rests on a Walnut wing-shaped root-burl that embraced its tree when it stood tall.

As with all natural elements, had it been left on the rock ridge where Jonny found it, the Earth would have claimed it, eventually. Walnut sawdust mixed with clear epoxy fills and permanently stabilizes its belly where the sculpture's powder coated steel stand's rods hold the sculpture firmly.

It must be exhibited away from sunlight or other ultraviolet light sources.

After a six month exhibition, when Jonny travelled to the Arkansas Governor's Mansion in Little Rock to bring Wing and A Prayer back to his studio, he was interrupted by an employee.

"You're not taking that one away, are you?"  he asked.

"It's time," Jonny replied.

"Oh, that's too bad, that's the one people always gather around while  waiting for meetings in the Grand Hall to begin."

The price includes delivery within the continental United States. Jonny will accompany Wing and A Prayer to ensure its safe delivery. He will require the help of two strong individuals, during setup, to place the winged walnut burl and the sphere of Ice Age stones atop the root-burl. The sale is final. No returns, no refunds unless Wing and A Prayer is irreparably damaged during transport to the buyer's destination. In that unlikely case, the buyer would have the option of a refund or to select another sculpture.
